The cats are at Brent Knoll Animal Centre. To view our cats please come along during our opening hours.

If you see a cat on the website that you are VERY interested in then please do give us a ring. We can put a temporary reserve on that cat for you. This means you then have that day or the next day to come out and meet the cat. (All children aged 14 and UNDER in the house MUST meet the cat). ALL children & adults MUST be at the home-check should you go for a FULL reserve on the cat.

Adoption fees for Cats & Kittens: £50.00

Clover & Patch

Clover (Left Photo) Ref WC3024

1 year 9 month old, Spayed Female. Patch's mum!

Patch (Right Photo) Ref WC3025

8 month old, Spayed Female.

Clover and Patch are mother and daughter - we think! They are possibly Rex X Breed. They were found abandoned in a box in a very poor condition back in January. They had extremely bad/sore ears, eyes and skin.

It has taken us until now to get them to a good condition, thanks to the hard work an dedication from staff, volunteers and vets. Even now though, they still need their ears cleaning on a weekly basis. They are tolerant at having this done as it happens often! It is a 2 person job though!

They also both have poor eye sight.  Clover is generally ok as she can get around very well, Patch on the other hand has trouble - she often bumps into things and cannot judge how far to jump. Despite this she can still play and dribble a ball better than David Beckham, she can also follow you and rub around your legs - especially at diner time!!

Due to all of the things I have mentioned, we are looking for either an INDOOR HOME or a home in a RURAL LOCATION, so that they don't have to negotiate any roads.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you can offer these affectionate, cuddly cats a home then call us on 01278 782671.

Children Poss 10+             Cats Yes                 Dogs - Unknown - probably No, though a small, quiet dog maybe a possibility.

MUST BE HOMED TOGETHER

Rosie Ref WC3251

4 year old, Female.

Rosie came to us as a stray involved in a car accident. She had a ruptured diaphragm as a result of it.

She is now fully recovered and doing very well.

She is a lovely natured cat, though we have been informed by the fosterer that cared for her, that she is a TYPICAL TORTIE! She has attitude!

Bella Ref WC2834

8 month old, Spayed Female.

Sweet little Bella is a very affectionate and gentle natured little cat.

Unfortunately Bella has had some toileting issue. However we feel that in a home without young children, cats and dogs she should overcome her issues.

Please, if you feel you have the commitment to Bella, give us a call.

Smudge Ref WC3237

3 year old, Semi-Longhaired, Spayed Female.

Smudge is a small, pretty little cat.

She came to us through no fault of her own as her owner's circumstances changed.

Smudge is very shy, she spends most of her time under her blanket. Though as soon as you touch her, she really enjoys a fuss!

She has always lived as an INDOOR CAT though we feel that due to her age that she should now have the opportunity to explore the big outdoors. It may however take some time for her to settle and gain confidence to enjoy going outside.

No Cats, No Dogs

Elsa Ref WC2767

 8 year old, Spayed Female.

Just look at her little face.

Elsa is a timid girl that needs a patient and understanding home. She can be stroked and handled though she is very shy and unsure.

She has a lovely nature, at feeding times she meows and rubs around you, though she is on a diet as she is a bit chubby!!

An experienced home with shy cats would be ideal.

Due to Elsa's nature we have decided she cane be homed as an INDOOR CAT.

No Dogs, No Cats, No Children.

HOORAY  - I'VE BEEN RESERVED!!!

Sam Ref WC3177

4 years old (approx), Neutered Male.

Sam only has 3 legs!

Sam came to us as an injured stray, with the damage so bad that it resulted in his right hind leg being amputated.

He is coping very well and gets about easily on three legs.

He has the cutest face and is very loving and affectionate.

Cats - Probably be ok with an existing young female cat.

Dogs - Possibly be ok.

Children 10+

Sophie Ref WC3238

8 year old, Spayed Female.

Sweet Sophie came to us through no fault of her own.

She is a lovely and very affectionate cat with a loud purr!

As you can see - Sophie's ears look a bit odd! They were actually normal when she came to us, however the tips of the ears were badly burnt and had turned cancerous. This resulted in the tips having to be removed. She's recovered well and she is not bothered by it at all! Its just made her look like a seal!!

Anyone thinking of taking Sophie on must be aware that like with all cats that have white ears (and nose) - that they must apply a high-factor suncream to protect them during summer months.

Cats - Probably be Ok.

Dogs - Possibly be ok with a calm dog.

Children 10+ Poss younger.

Kit Kat Ref WC3108

4 year old, Neutered Male.

Now this is a cat with ATTITUDE! Looks like butter wouldn't melt!

Kit Kat is a very confident and friendly cat - but likes his own space. He will come for affection when he wants it.

He is full of character - very cheeky! He loves to play and his favourite thing is to jump in a box and hide!!

No Cats, No Children

Toby Appeal

Toby Ref WC2101

2½ year old, Neutered Male.

Toby is a lovable, cheeky boy. He is our appeal cat due to a specialised home requirement.

He is looking for a fun and loving home in a rural location (preferably in the 'middle of nowhere!!'). He longs to go on adventures in the garden and play with the local rodents, then come home to a warm house where he can have his dinner and then snooze in front of the fire!

Toby does not cope at all well around dogs, children and especially cats, so MUST be the only pet. In his past 3 homes he has had difficulties with the neighbouring cats. This made him feel very stressed and unhappy, causing him to spray. We are hopeful that other cats are the main reason for this behaviour, as in every new home, during the time he spends confined to the house whilst he is settling in - he is absolutely fine.

We are appealing to those out there that live in a quiet location that has a very low cat population, as this is his only chance of leading a happy life. Toby really deserves a new home as he is such a nice cat.

No Cats, No Dogs, No Children.

Molly Ref WC3197

7 year old, Spayed Female.

Molly is a small compact cat! She has got little legs and just generally a dinky body!!

She is a sweet cat that keep herself to herself most of the time, though really does enjoy a fuss. She may sit on a lap - if she's in a cuddly mood.

She would be ideal for a retired person or couple.

Cats Yes, Dogs No.

Children 10+ Possibly younger.

Archie Ref WC3234

CAT FOSTERING

Have you got a secure spare room?

Could you provide a calm and caring environment for mother cats and their kittens for a few weeks until they can go up for homing?

Would you help an injured cat convalesce in the peace and comfort of your home?

Do you have transport?

If you can answer YES to the above questions, then perhaps you would consider becoming a Foster Carer for the RSPCA Brent Knoll Animal Centre?

For further details please contact Nikki on 01278 782671.

Ketchup Ref WC3089

8 year old, Spayed Female.

Ketchup is quite a dinky/compact cat.

She came to us with her back right leg in a bit of a state due to an old injury. She has had surgery to sort it out and has made a full recovery. More details can be explained by a member of staff at the time of your visit, or give us a call.

Dear little Ketchup would suit a retired person/couple down to the ground - plus she is a LAP CAT!

Cassie came to us due to the unfortunate passing of her owner.

She has been used to a very quiet life, and we are looking for another quiet home for her. She is very shy, she needs a loving and patient owner to help her settle.

Cassie is extremely deserving of a new home.

She would be ideal for a retired person or couple.

NO Children, No cats, No Dogs.

Tiptoe Ref WC3250

2 year old, Female.

Tiptoe came to us as a stray.

Tiptoe is a a quiet, friendly cat. She has 6 toes on each paw!! The photo on the left shows one of her extra toes! The extra toes do not concern her or us, if anything it probably just gives her extra balance!
